Hi, my name is Anna-Lena. I’m a Learning Experience Designer at quantilope and have been with the company for 1 ½ years. 


I originally trained as a teacher, and now have spent over a decade in the world of corporate learning education, wearing multiple hats along the way. From face-to-face training, to online program design, I've done it all! In most recent history, I have focused on Customer Education and online learning and program design.

  • 💻What are your responsibilities as a Learning Experience Designer?
As the Senior Learning Experience Designer at our organization, my primary focus is on our academy. Here, I am dedicated to empowering our clients not only on how to use our powerful platform, but also providing them with further education on the scientific methods that drive the impactful results they achieve with us.

  • 🤓What does your day-to-day look like?
I have the great pleasure of working directly with our incredible Customer Success, Solutions Consulting, and Science teams on the academy courses. Our teams consist of formally trained market researchers who are incredibly sharp and know how to add value to our customers. I have learned a tremendous amount from our remarkable team, and I jokingly say that my brain has likely doubled in size since starting this job.

Of course, my job also involves other "typical" LXD tasks such as content review, developing course structures, designing content, and creating learning material including visuals, videos, and voiceovers. However, working with our team is an absolute highlight and the part I enjoy the most, so I wanted to emphasize that here!

  • 🔍What’s been your favorite project so far? 
One of my favorite projects so far has been working on a foundational knowledge course on Better Brand Health. We had the opportunity to automate the groundbreaking tracking approach based on the acclaimed work of Professor Jenni Romaniuk of the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute of Marketing Science, as outlined in their books Better Brand Health and How Brands Grow. This approach delivers truly actionable outcomes and we at quantilope are able to deliver those results at an incredible speed.

In this project, I had the pleasure of designing a course that introduces the basic concepts behind this innovative approach, specifically focusing on the concepts of "Mental Availability" and "Category Entry Points." The research process was fascinating, as I delved into the topic, consulted with our team, and listened to podcasts featuring Professor Jenni Romaniuk.

Designing this course was an exhilarating experience, knowing that we are offering a forward-thinking approach to the industry. I am proud to have contributed to providing more education around this cutting-edge methodology.

  • 😍 What are you passionate about at work?

There are two things that are very close to my heart.
One, it gives me pure joy to contribute to someone's learning and empower them while they interact with fun and engaging content. Secondly, I am passionate about finding creative ways to share information, making it simple and accessible. Most of the content we deliver in the Customer Education industry is not rocket science (unless you really do work for NASA), so let's not pretend it is. And certainly, let's not make our content sound like it is either.

  • 🚀What advice would you give to someone looking to get into “role”?

Before deciding to enter the Customer Education field, consider your passion and your "Why." There are various successful paths into this space, including backgrounds in marketing, customer success, or education. The crucial questions are: Are you passionate about empowering people with knowledge and contributing to their professional growth? Do you care about making a difference and simplifying someone's life? Customer Education emphasizes providing accessible solutions, so if you have a passion for that, I highly encourage you to join this amazing industry!

I love my work and the people here. It is rare that a company actually walks the talk and we have absolutely accomplished that here at quantilope. I get to work not only with some of the smartest people in the insights industry, but also some of the most empathetic and kind people with whom I have ever had the pleasure of working.
